Vibrant Patterns

Yer basic oscillating quadratic membrane, with a dollop of math error thrown in. Top with parmesan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes (depending on processor speed).

Vibrant Patterns pairs well with Web Posterize from the Webmaster series, for non-dithering web tiles, Mac or Windows desktop patterns, and so on. Combine Vibrant Patterns with Photoshop's "Define Patterns" to create seamless tiles for print work, or put them on a layer to add textural interest to dull patches in original artwork. Use them for CD-ROM backgrounds.
          Go geometric or natural, subtle or psychedelic. Though these filters employ plenty of randomness, they also provide tremendous control. If you actually want to understand what all the controls do, you have to read the manual. (Yeah, right.)
