Web Scrubber |
Sometimes a little dithering in the browser can improve the quality of your image. But how do you control which areas get dithered, and which don't? |
||||
ColorsThe Colors pop-up lets you select the number of colors for the image. The smaller the number, the smaller the file. (Don't get too carried away, or quality will suffer.)
RGBThe sliders for Red, Green and Blue adjust the amount of scrubbing. (In other versions of this algorithm, this is called "grit.") The higher the number, the closer the image will come to a pure web-safe palette. With lower numbers, you get more dithering.
Brightness & ContrastThese do what you think they do. Use 'em to improve overall image quality. Gracias, AmigosA sloppy wet kiss to talented Todd Fahrner of Verso/Agitprop for developing this algorithm. And a hearty secret handshake for fab Philip Gwyn, creator of the original Web Scrub filter (produced with Filter Factory). Benedictions to both for sharing with others. Tour topDownload now! | |||||
