We'll Name Him Reuprect! (3.23.99)

"The work you are doing deserves ample reward. Would you like my first born child?" John Gasperoni - gaspo@xxxxxxxx

Although this may on the surface be tempting, a kid is quite a lot of responsibility, as our founder, Corey Marion can attest to. Thanks, but we've got too much pixel pushing to do to mind a little one. Besides, the floor of a factory is no place for children :-) gm

They're Also Allergy Free! (4.10.99)

"I really like the "Spring Fling" icons. They are a refreshing change from the usual stuff (which is also very nice). Perhaps it would be a nice idea to produce some more natural icons like this in the future. Keep up the great work!" Ryan Clark - rwclark@xxxxxxxx

Dave appreciates the kind words Ryan, thanks! We were all very impressed with his Spring Fling collection. Once again Dave somehow managed to do something completely new in that little 32x32 pixel grid. Will wonders never cease? - gm

A View of the Trash from Space (5.9.99)

"I just wanted to drop you guys a line and say that the Kaleidoscope scheme that came with the new Echelon icons is the best scheme I have seen for Kaleidoscope EVER. It will probably be a permanent feature of my mac. My Wintel using brother looked at my mac the other day and asked if all macs looked that cool!

By the way, what is the trash? I've been staring at it a while now, wondering. Is it a plan-view toilet?. I also made a
desktop background which goes with the scheme fairly well (unintentionally).

Keep up the cool stuff, guys, you are one of the most positive things happening on the internet!" James Doyle - einstein@xxxxxxxx

Thanks to Albie Wong's help, you can tell your brother that yes, all Macs do look that cool! Good job on the desktop picture there James, you should pound out some more. Thanks again for writing, take care! - gm

MOMA (Museum of Miniature Art) (5.22.99)

"I really love the IconFactory. I've been somewhat obsessed with icons for a few years now. Since the fifth grade, at least (I'm 13). I know that may seem scary, and maybe it is, but I liked collecting huge amounts of icons. I would pile 'em all on disks. Sadly though, the disk holding my original collection, all neatly organized, has gone bad. Anyways, while hunting for icons way back when, I stumbled upon your site and got hooked. You guys are like an art gallery. The finest icon work in the country. I am very impressed with the whole site and its icons." Bill Kalb - macman911@xxxxxxxx

You're not alone in the icon collecting realm, Bill. We constantly receive mail from people who love hoarding icons of all kinds. Its like the modern day equivalent of pogs or a cheaper solution to collecting Beanie Babies. And just like retired Beanies, we've even got limited or "underground" icons. Some lucky folks out there have our Far Side, Batman, Superman and School House Rock collections that were all pulled for legal reasons. Don't ask us to send them to ya, cause we can't. But if you're one of the lucky ones who has them, know you've got something not many others have. - gm
